We want every resident to succeed, so we're upfront when we're not the right place. Anchor & Ascent is a recovery residence, not a medical or detox setting. If someone needs detox, medical stabilization, or a higher level of care, we'll say so and help point toward the right resource. The strongest placements start with an honest conversation.

The men who live at Anchor & Ascent arrive from all kinds of starting points. Some are stepping down from a treatment program and aren't ready to go straight home. Some are coming off a hard stretch and want structure before they try to do it alone again. Others are simply done living somewhere that pulls them backward, and they're ready for a home that pulls them forward.
What our residents share isn't where they've been — it's where they're trying to go. They want to work, repair relationships, rebuild trust, and string together the kind of consistent, ordinary days that lasting recovery is actually made of. Our job is to give them a stable, accountable place to do exactly that, surrounded by men doing the same.
