What is sober living?
Sober living is a structured, drug- and alcohol-free home where people in recovery live together with shared expectations, accountability, and community. It's a stable place to rebuild daily life — work, routine, relationships, and recovery — surrounded by others doing the same. Anchor & Ascent is a sober living home for adult men in Boca Raton.
Is Anchor & Ascent a treatment center or rehab?
No. We're a sober living home — a recovery residence, not a treatment center. We don't provide therapy, medical care, or clinical services. We provide a structured, supportive, drug- and alcohol-free home where men can live while they work, attend recovery support, and build stability. Residents keep their own outside supports, like sponsors, meetings, or providers.
Who can live at Anchor & Ascent?
We serve adult men who are committed to their recovery and ready to live in a structured, accountable, drug- and alcohol-free home. The best way to know if it's a fit is a quick conversation — call or text (561) 878-0700.
Can residents work and come and go?
Yes. Residents are encouraged to work, job search, attend school, and rebuild daily life. We're flexible about schedules, coming and going, and overnight passes when communication is strong and the resident is aligned with their sobriety and house expectations.
What's expected of residents?
Staying drug- and alcohol-free, participating in recovery support, staying productive (work, school, or job search), keeping shared spaces clean, communicating honestly, and respecting house guidelines, housemates, and the community.
Is there drug and alcohol testing?
Yes. Consistent, fairly applied drug and alcohol screening is part of how we keep the home safe and everyone moving in the same direction.
Where is the home located?
In Boca Raton, Florida, in a quiet residential setting close to meetings, recovery support, employment, and the beach — serving the Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Palm Beach County recovery community. We share the exact address during your fit conversation.
How do I get a bed, or refer someone?
Just call or text (561) 878-0700. We'll talk through fit, current availability, and next steps. Families and referral partners are always welcome to reach out directly.
How much does it cost?
Rates depend on the home and current availability. Call or text (561) 878-0700 and we'll walk you through the details.
