Life at the house

Structure and comfort aren't opposites here

Anchor & Ascent feels like a home — because it is one — with the rhythm and accountability that keep recovery on track.

Mornings start with purpose. Most residents head out to work, job interviews, recovery support, or appointments, then come back to a clean, comfortable home and a group of guys who get it. Evenings might mean a house meeting, a meeting in the community, dinner together, the gym, the beach, or just hanging out. The point is simple: men in recovery doing real life together, supporting each other through it.

  • A real home environment — updated kitchen, comfortable living areas, clean bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Brotherhood and community — shared meals, group activities, and genuine friendships in recovery.
  • Recovery built into the week — stay connected to meetings, sponsors, and recovery support.
  • Room to build a life — work, school, and rebuilding relationships are encouraged and supported.
  • Fun, too — the beach, the gym, cookouts, and house activities are part of the culture.
  • Flexibility with communication — we work with your schedule and overnight passes when communication is strong.
